If you barely use the Touchscreen to navigate around, can you try these steps to disable the feature. Your problem might be similar to this thread. It happens in different places on the screen, usually just one at a time but occasionally multiple touches. For now I resort to putting it into hibernation or having to do a full reboot, and it fixes it for a while but always starts up again.
